Mike S. and Tarek K. team up to carry the message of recovery. They both describe the broken internal condition that leads one to find a solution in drugs and alcohol and how once control is lost the addict and alcoholic’s mind continues to tell him or her there’s the hope that one day he or she will regain control. They drive home the importance of having recovery, fellowship and a sense of purpose. The Launching Pad’s structured substance abuse recovery program requires action in recovery, fellowship and service work.
