Tarek discusses the three worst places for an addict and alcoholic to be – sense of separation, lack of proportion and ability to think straight and no purpose. He believes the solution is rooted in Recovery, Unity and Service and how action in each of these legacies can overcome these problems. The Launching Pad’s sober living recovery program requires active participation in the twelve step process, unity within the program’s brotherhood and a twelve step fellowship home group and service work in the form of sponsorship which our residents engage after 90 days.
